Immigroov Mentor Legal Policies and Agreements

By registering as a Mentor on the Immigroov platform and clicking 'I Agree' during the sign-up process, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the following terms, policies, and conditions. These form a legally binding agreement between you (“Mentor”) and Immigroov Consulting VOF.

1. Mentor Terms and Conditions

Issued By: Immigroov Consulting VOF, a Dutch general partnership, registered at Hoppad 7, Valkenswaard, 5552EV, Noord Brabant, The Netherlands ("Immigroov").

1.1 Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to the Immigroov online platform accessible via www.immigroov.com
  • "Mentor" refers to any individual who registers and is approved to provide guidance or consultation services on the Platform.
  • "User" or "Customer" refers to any individual who books and attends a session via the Platform.

1.2 Acceptance of Terms

By registering as a Mentor and accessing the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, Commission and Payout Policy, and Refund and Cancellation Policy.

1.3 Platform Ownership and Access

  • Immigroov retains full ownership of the Platform and its associated services.
  • Mentors are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Platform to provide services.
  • Immigroov reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Mentor's access to the Platform at its sole discretion.

1.4 Eligibility and Verification

  • Mentors must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement.
  • Mentors must complete identity verification and provide truthful, accurate information during onboarding.
  • Immigroov reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion.

1.5 Service Conduct and Professionalism

  • Mentors shall conduct themselves with professionalism, respect, and integrity.
  • Immigroov prohibits harassment, discrimination, abuse, or misconduct of any form.
  • Mentors must use supported tools (e.g., Google Meet) for delivering sessions.

1.6 Session and Cancellation Rules

  • Mentors are allowed to define their own cancellation/rescheduling policies, which will be displayed at the time of booking and shall be binding on both parties.
  • Mentors must adhere to scheduled sessions. More than three (3) no-shows per calendar month may lead to account suspension.
  • Mentors consistently rated below 2 out of 5 may be disqualified from the Platform after review.

1.7 Content Ownership

  • Mentors retain intellectual property rights over the session content they create.
  • Immigroov retains a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use anonymized metadata and feedback for platform analytics and promotional purposes.

1.8 Non-Solicitation and Exclusivity

  • Mentors agree not to solicit Immigroov Customers for off-platform services.
  • Mentors must not use Platform-obtained user data for any external or competitive purposes.

1.9 Termination

  • Immigroov may terminate a Mentor account without notice for breach of these terms.
  • Upon termination, all pending payouts will be withheld pending compliance verification.

1.10 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation; if unresolved, disputes will be submitted to arbitration in Tamil Nadu, India.

2. Mentor Payout and Commission Policy

2.1 Commission and Tiers

  • Base commission: Immigroov retains 30% of the session fee (excluding transaction/conversion fees).
  • Tiered benefits:
    • 25+ sessions/month: 25% Immigroov, 75% Mentor
    • 45+ sessions/month: 20% Immigroov, 80% Mentor
  • Evaluation is conducted monthly (calendar month).
  • Mentors may opt out of tiered model and remain at a flat 70/30 split.

2.2 Payout Schedule

  • Payouts are processed manually based on the calendar month.
  • Immigroov handles payouts manually and reserves the right to delay disbursement in case of account verification or suspected fraud.
  • Mentors are required to provide accurate bank account details.

2.3 Deductions

  • All third-party fees (e.g., payment gateway charges, currency conversion costs) are borne by the Mentor.
  • Immigroov’ s commission is calculated prior to these deductions.

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy

3.1 Applicable Scenarios for Refund

Refunds may only be approved under the following conditions:

  • Mentor did not attend the scheduled session (no-show).
  • Technical failure prevented session delivery and was not resolved.
  • Session was cancelled by the Customer within the timeframe set by the Mentor.

3.2 Non-Refundable Fees

  • Immigroov’ s platform fees are strictly non-refundable.
  • Transaction and conversion fees are not included in any refund amount.

3.3 Review and Enforcement

  • Immigroov reserves the right to mediate disputes and determine refund eligibility at its discretion.
  • Repeated refund requests may lead to account review.

4. Mentor Consent and Acknowledgement Agreement

By clicking “Accept & Continue” during the sign-up or onboarding process, I confirm that:

  1. I consent to the collection and processing of my personal data for identity verification, payment coordination, communication, and performance evaluation purposes.
  2. I authorize Immigroov to publish my profile and display my name, expertise, and profile image on the Platform.
  3. I understand and agree to the commission structure, payout model, and associated fees.
  4. I acknowledge that platform fees are non-refundable.
  5. I understand that frequent no-shows or poor performance can lead to suspension or removal from the Platform.
  6. I confirm that I will not solicit customers for services outside the Platform.
  7. I accept that any disputes will be governed by the laws of India and resolved in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising out of or related to these policies shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Noord Brabant, The Netherlands.

Immigroov Mentor Content Ownership Policy

This policy governs ownership rights, permitted use, and sharing of content created or used by mentors during sessions conducted via the Immigroov platform.

1. Ownership of Content

  • Mentors retain full intellectual property rights over original content they create and use during sessions. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Presentation slides
    • Templates and worksheets
    • Notes or resources shared
    • Verbal guidance and personal narratives

2. License Granted to Immigroov

  • By using the platform, the Mentor grants Immigroov a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:
    • Use session titles, descriptions, and feedback for platform marketing and analytics
    • Refer to anonymized session highlights for training, product improvements, or user education
    • Display mentor content snippets or screenshots in promotional materials, with prior notice
  • This license does not grant Immigroov the right to resell or redistribute full mentor content without written consent.

3. Use of Third-Party Content

  • Mentors are responsible for ensuring that any third-party content used in their sessions (e.g., licensed tools, copyrighted visuals) complies with applicable intellectual property laws.
  • Immigroov disclaims any liability for unauthorized use of third-party content by mentors.

4. Sharing and Distribution by Mentors

  • Mentors may re-use their own content outside Immigroov.
  • Mentors may not use platform-generated materials (e.g., user feedback, session data, Immigroov branding assets) for personal promotion without permission.

5. Confidentiality and Data Use

  • Mentor content may not include or reuse customer data, personal session feedback, or platform-generated analytics unless anonymized and approved.
  • All user session data remains the property of Immigroov and/or the respective customer.

6. Termination and Content Retention

  • Upon account closure or termination, mentors retain ownership of all content created.
  • Immigroov may continue to retain anonymized session metadata and feedback in accordance with its data policies and marketing license.

Governing Law: This policy shall be governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Noord Brabant, The Netherlands.

Immigroov Mentor Operating and Conduct Agreement

This Agreement sets out the expectations, operating procedures, and professional conduct standards required of all Mentors on the Immigroov platform. By registering and using the platform, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

1. Professional Conduct and Ethics

1.1 General Behaviour

Mentors shall:

  • Conduct sessions professionally, respectfully, and with integrity.
  • Avoid any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive language.
  • Maintain neutrality on political, religious, or culturally sensitive issues unless explicitly relevant to the session.

1.2 Respect for Users

  • Mentors must treat all customers equally regardless of gender, nationality, religion, or background.
  • Mentors must not pressure or coerce customers into giving positive feedback or personal information.

1.3 Compliance with Platform Values

  • Mentors represent Immigroov while on the platform and must not engage in behavior that undermines the reputation, trust, or integrity of Immigroov.

2. Session Execution and Communication

2.1 Punctuality and Preparedness

  • Mentors must be on time for all scheduled sessions.
  • Mentors are expected to prepare adequately for the session based on customer-provided inputs.

2.2 Use of Supported Tools

  • Sessions must be conducted using officially supported platforms (e.g., Google Meet, Zoom, or any platform specified by Immigroov).

2.3 Cancellation and No-Show Handling

  • Mentors must update availability and honor confirmed sessions.
  • Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows (>3 per calendar month) may lead to account suspension.

3. Platform Integrity and Confidentiality

3.1 Platform Use

  • Mentors shall use the platform solely for purposes of offering and delivering their booked services.
  • Use of bots, scraping tools, or unauthorized automation is strictly prohibited.

3.2 Non-Solicitation

  • Mentors may not solicit or offer paid services to customers outside the platform.
  • All service transactions must be conducted through Immigroov unless otherwise authorized.

3.3 Confidentiality

  • Mentors shall not share or misuse any customer data or confidential information.
  • Use of customer information for off-platform marketing, sales, or follow-ups is prohibited.

4. Branding, Content & Marketing Use

4.1 Branding Alignment

  • Mentors may not use Immigroov logos, brand assets, or mention partnership status without prior written permission.
  • All marketing of their services via the platform must align with Immigroov’s professional standards.

4.2 Session Content

  • Mentors retain ownership of any content they create (e.g., slides, worksheets).
  • Immigroov is granted a non-exclusive license to refer to session titles, anonymized excerpts, and feedback for marketing, analytics, or platform training purposes.

5. Monitoring and Quality Review

5.1 Reviews and Ratings

  • Mentors agree to be reviewed by customers and accept that these ratings may affect visibility or continued eligibility.

5.2 Internal Review

  • Immigroov may audit sessions, investigate complaints, or perform quality checks.
  • Mentors may be contacted for clarification or coaching to improve customer satisfaction.

6. Disqualification and Termination

6.1 Grounds for Removal

Immigroov reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Mentor's access for:

  • Breach of this agreement
  • Consistently low session ratings (<2.0)
  • More than 3 no-shows in a calendar month
  • Violation of customer privacy or abuse of the platform

6.2 Consequences

  • Immediate removal of listing
  • Withholding of pending payouts subject to investigation
  • Ban from reapplying as a Mentor

7. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Noord Brabant, The Netherlands.

Customer

Immigroov Customer Legal Policies and Agreements

By using the Immigroov platform and clicking 'I Agree' or proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the following terms and policies. These form a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer") and Immigroov Consulting VOF.

1. Customer Terms of Use

Issued By: Immigroov Consulting VOF, a Dutch general partnership, registered at Hoppad 7, Valkenswaard, 5552EV, Noord Brabant, The Netherlands ("Immigroov").

1.1 Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to the Immigroov website and associated services accessible via www.immigroov.com.
  • "Customer" refers to any user who books or attends a session via the Platform.
  • "Mentor" refers to individuals offering guidance or consultation sessions on the Platform.

1.2 Platform Purpose

  • Immigroov is a facilitator platform that connects Customers with Mentors for informational sessions.
  • Immigroov is not a legal, migration, or professional advisory firm.
  • All advice given by Mentors reflects personal experience and does not constitute official, legal, or professional advice.

1.3 Use of Platform

  • Customers must be at least 18 years old.
  • Customers agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
  • Immigroov reserves the right to suspend accounts suspected of misuse, fraud, or breach of terms.

1.4 Session Booking and Communication

  • Booking is completed upon payment confirmation.
  • The Mentor's cancellation and rescheduling terms, displayed at time of booking, are binding.
  • Customers are expected to join on time using the provided session link (Zoom, Google Meet, or other).

1.5 Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • Immigroov makes no guarantees about the accuracy or outcomes of sessions.
  • Immigroov is not liable for any loss, damage, or decision made based on information obtained through a session.
  • Customer assumes all responsibility for interpreting and using information received from Mentors.

1.6 Termination

  • Immigroov reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Customer account for misuse or violation of these terms.

1.7 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
  • All disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Noord Brabant, The Netherlands.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1 Applicable Refund Scenarios

Refunds will be processed only under the following conditions:

  • Mentor fails to attend the session (no-show).
  • Session was canceled by the Customer within the timeline set by the Mentor.
  • Major technical failure not resolved during the session time.

2.2 Non-Refundable Charges

  • Immigroov platform service fees are strictly non-refundable.
  • Transaction and currency conversion fees are not included in any refunds.

2.3 Customer Responsibility

  • It is the Customer’s responsibility to read and understand the Mentor’s cancellation terms at time of booking.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the scheduled session.

3. Customer Consent and Booking Acknowledgement

By proceeding with a booking or creating an account, I confirm that:

  1. I understand that Immigroov is a facilitator platform and does not provide legal or professional services.
  2. I agree to abide by the Mentor’s published cancellation and rescheduling terms.
  3. I understand that refunds are limited to no-show, timely cancellation, or technical failure cases only.
  4. I accept that Immigroov’s platform fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
  5. I agree to receive communication related to my session bookings, reminders, and service updates.
  6. I consent to the collection of my name, email, phone number, and booking preferences for the purpose of managing sessions.

Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising out of or related to these policies shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Noord Brabant, The Netherlands.

Immigroov Customer Session Disclaimer and Waiver

By booking or attending a session through the Immigroov platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Disclaimer and Waiver.

1. Nature of Services

  • Immigroov is a digital platform that connects customers with independent mentors who provide informational and experiential guidance related to migration, living abroad, career, and integration topics.
  • The mentors are not legal, immigration, tax, or medical professionals unless specifically stated. They do not represent any government, embassy, or legal authority.
  • All information provided during sessions reflects the personal experience, perspective, or opinion of the mentor.

2. No Legal or Professional Advice

  • The information shared in sessions does not constitute legal, immigration, visa, tax, health, or professional advice.
  • You are solely responsible for verifying any advice or suggestions before taking action.
  • Any reliance you place on information from mentors is strictly at your own risk.

3. Independent Verification

  • You are encouraged to seek formal guidance from licensed professionals or authorities for any legal, immigration, or compliance matters.
  • Mentors are not liable for the outcome of any actions taken based on session content.

4. Limitation of Liability

  • Immigroov is a facilitator and does not guarantee the accuracy, outcome, or effectiveness of any session.
  • Immigroov shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your reliance on session content.

5. Personal Responsibility

  • You acknowledge that all decisions made after a session are your own responsibility.
  • You release Immigroov and its representatives from all liability connected to any loss, decision, or consequence resulting from the session.

6. Recording and Use of Content

  • Sessions are not recorded or stored by Immigroov.
  • You may not record or reproduce session content without written consent from the mentor.

7. Acknowledgement and Acceptance

By proceeding with a booking, I confirm that:

  • I understand the mentor is not acting in a licensed legal, immigration, or governmental capacity.
  • I understand that all advice is personal and informational in nature.
  • I accept full responsibility for verifying and acting on any advice received.
  • I release Immigroov and the mentor from any liability related to my decisions and outcomes.

Governing Law: This waiver is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from session use shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Noord Brabant, The Netherlands.

Immigroov is committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and positive environment for all users. These guidelines outline the expectations for customer behavior while interacting with mentors and using the Immigroov platform.

1. Respectful Interaction

  • Treat mentors and platform support staff with courtesy, patience, and professionalism.
  • Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or aggressive language.
  • Respect cultural, religious, and personal differences.

2. Honest and Transparent Communication

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account and booking a session.
  • Share genuine concerns and expectations when prompted during the booking process.
  • Avoid misrepresenting your intentions or identity.

3. Punctuality and Participation

  • Join scheduled sessions on time.
  • Notify your mentor as early as possible if you are unable to attend.
  • Refrain from being idle, distracted, or disruptive during the session.

4. Prohibited Conduct

Customers may not:

  • Solicit mentors for off-platform services or communication
  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate mentors or other users
  • Record sessions without explicit permission from the mentor
  • Share any mentor’s personal information or materials outside the session

5. Feedback and Ratings

  • Provide honest, constructive feedback and ratings based on your experience.
  • Avoid leaving retaliatory or intentionally misleading reviews.
  • If you encounter issues, contact Immigroov support instead of using ratings as a complaint channel.

6. Data Privacy and Security

  • Do not ask mentors to disclose their private or financial information.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and secure.
  • Use the platform only for its intended purpose and not for data harvesting or scraping.

7. Consequences of Violation

Immigroov reserves the right to:

  • Warn, suspend, or permanently ban users who violate these guidelines
  • Remove any content, reviews, or messages that breach the standards outlined herein
  • Report serious misconduct to relevant legal or regulatory authorities
